The spa was good, the pools and water park were enjoyable, but overall, I don't recommend this place. The gym tiny, with limited weights or room to work out. Uncomfortable beds and thin pillows, far from luxurious. The Melia app was unreliable, amenities were lacking, and the room had minimal supplies. No quality liquor or Prosecco available (one bottle of Prosecco would be 70USD à la carte), only cheap alternatives (only Conquesta wine was served, in the $5-7/bottle range). The beach was covered in seaweed, the water was brown and smelled like rotten eggs. Our room was not tidied up twice, we had to call a few times to have it done by 8pm. Service was slow, and getting towels or water required multiple calls. Different tiers of service, if you want good customer service pay more or expect to be ignored. Our personal concierge, Leonardo, failed to make reservations and misled us into attending a presentation. The allergen information was highly inaccurate, risking allergic reactions. Limited options for families, and the buffet gets crowded and gross. Restaurant reservations were necessary, but we were not informed. The grounds look nice, but everything else was subpar. We booked through Expedia for the room upgrade and free wine ($5 lol). I am unsure why this resort has so many positive reviews or a 5-star rating. ![]()
